What started as just one man's desire to share with the world his vision of comic book reality, grew into something very special.  During the Summer of 2003, the novice skinner known then as Big Tyme D gathered together a group of promising skinners who like himself, were looking for an identity in the Freedom Force community.  Collectively they formed Tyme 4 Freedom.  Zuludelta, Kommando, Desdemona, TMKM and Ewzzy joined Big Tyme D to form the core of the first crew.   As their ranks grew... so did their ambition.  New Power INC went live on the net January of 2004 while Freedom Force was at its peak.   With in months it had become one of the most regularly visited sites in the community.  While updates and new content was a constant... many returned again and again to read up on the characters, which they were growing familiar with, and were always complimentary at how unified and 'complete' the NPI universe came across... especially considering the number of creators involved.

Over the years, There have been many artist who have contributed their creative talents to the whole of New Power INC both directly and indirectly.  In addition to the original crew there was: Bloodshadow, Paradox, Cavalier, Reepicheep, Vertex, Aly Catt, Ajax, Matrix, Texas Jack, Titan, Death's Jester, Voltimax, Valandar, Carravaggio and certainly one or two which may have been over looked. 

Although NPI still exist, many of its creators have since moved on to other endeavors.  Others however, like Paradox and Matrix, have moved on to new planes of existence... and are greatly missed.

In this section, some of the most significant and creative works which have been done by creators who have 'retired' are represented.  These are complete characters and Most still have some relevance to the world of NPI as it visualized 'today'.  Many characters were purposely omitted for one or more of the following reasons: they were never fully developed; their incorporation to the NPI universe was at best minimal to begin with;  the involvement NPI's founder, in their creation was also minimal;  joint ownership of character with NPI was never established; the sheer volume of what has ever been made would require many more weeks of dedication trying to organize and put up.  However, there are a few more still which will be added in the future.

There are a few creators who have been omitted due to the uncertainty of their current status... ie... are they retired or are they staging a comeback...?  Only time will tell.
